Alfie is a natural raconteur and found that walking the beat and dealing with everyday incidents generated a host of humorous stories that you ‘just couldn’t make up’. He has written his own material from the start and performs his own one-man show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival each year.
Alfie has an observational comedic style, which lends itself to witty, and sometimes gritty, anecdotes based on everyday modern policing. This ability to present everyday issues in a comedic way led to a commission from an NHS Trust to develop and deliver material to raise awareness of issues about men’s health.
